Well, as you can see, little Jude finally came!!! Although he was only 3 days past my due date, it felt like he was never going to join us. He was born April 3 at 10:49am. He weighed 8 pounds 8 ounces and was 21 inches long. The labor was wonderful and amazingly fast. My water broke around 2:30 in the morning and the contractions weren't too painful until I was given some pitocin, then they really kicked in. Luckily my epidural worked because I progressed from 3cm dialated to 10cm in about 2 hours!
Since coming home, we have just enjoyed being a family of four and all of the challenges that it brings (particularly the lack of sleep). Our little Jude Taylor is growing quickly and already weighs 9 pounds 6 ounces!! Leila is adjusting well and although she has been a great helper, I still won't leave her alone with him while I shower or sleep! We look forward to the adventures ahead of us and thanks to everyone who has been helping us make the transition!

So exciting for you guys! We need to make a visit sometime soon to meet our beautiful little Jude. :)
Jude looks like a total cutie. I hope my labor goes that fast. Crazy.
